SketchClub on an iPad 3

Been too long since my last post, and not enough drawing in that time, but I am carving out a little more time every day. There are a few apps that I have been using on the ipad lately that i am very impressed with, and SketchClub is one of them. The ability to rotate the drawing view and create and customize the brush sets are probably my favorite features, and the online community accessible through the app itself is a huge plus to the experience. I am not usually a fan of recording my drawings as a WIP, but SketchClub really makes it easy:

First Foray into 3d Printing

The recent to trip to Vegas for Autodesk University and participating in the Creative Studio there convinced me that I needed to take another look at a project that I had earmarked to turn into a 3d printed piece, my design for a robot girl that I had had named RoboSuzy. I'll post some of the results soon...

Photoshop Brush Downloads Added

I have been cleaning up and sorting my custom and acquired brushes from Photoshop, and have added the first two small sets; see the column on the left to access these Brushes. I feel that every moderate to pro Photoshop user should have a good stable of brushes...I will be posting a tutorial in the next few days on making brushes. My latest fave method is to use Alchemy to make interesting shapes to act as a basis for PS brushes.

Moonshine: Artists after Dark

Just stumbled across this video, and I just couldn't get enough of it...really interesting as someone who works in print to see a Movie Studio making a book project of this sort:
